Kelly's Story
Life
Married in '81 to Kristy Hicks (Cibola '81). Changed last name to Carlberg (mothers maiden name) in '83. Three kids, Chris, Candyce, and Cameron. Spent 6 years in the Navy. Attended college in the Navy. Ran the family buisness for 20 years. Cisco Systems purchased a company we were invlved with and I ended up working for CISCO under a 3 year contract. CISCO is an incredible company .... after the three years I decided to stay on have am enjoying the new challenges. Have lived in S calif since the late 80's. Now that all the kids are out Kristy and I are looking to roam a bit. We are planning on renting the Calif house this summer (2012) and take what fits in the car and travel a bit to different cool places. There are only four criteria for the location: Skiing, Golf, Hiking / backpacking, and within 90 minutes...Expand for more

Oldest son, Christopher (27) is back from Columbia / Costa Rica. He spent the past few years traveling in Latin America. He paid for the traveling by teaching english through several church groups. Candyce (24) just finished her degree in Criminal Justice degree from Long Beach State. She played basketball thru HS and college. As she looks to find a position in her field, she is involved with running basketball shooting camps for elite HS and college players, along with some coaching on the side. Our yougest, cameron (20) is full time at ASU and is on the ASU Wrestling team. He is looking to get a business degree at ASU. After that he is looking forward to his real passion of going to a top culinary arts school. He is already pretty darn solid in the kitchen.
